After graduating from Upper Arlington High School in Columbus Ohio, Craig attended Indiana University where he received a degree in Marketing from Indiana’s Kelley School of Business. At Indiana he played varsity baseball and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta-FIJI. Upon graduation Craig moved back to Columbus to pursue a sales career in Fixed Income; however the unique real estate market taking shape in 2004 inspired Craig to move to a destination he first visited in 1981; Bonita Springs. Although Bonita had undergone many changes since then, Craig believed the vast opportunities were still plentiful, especially for pursuing a career in real estate investing. Within the first 5 months of relocating, Craig purchased over 30 properties by contacting property owners directly. After planting these investments for himself and family-related partners, he continued his pursuit of real estate investing by working for a local 1031 exchange company and IRA custodian. At his career with 1031 Tax Free Strategies, LLC Craig educated individual CPAs, attorneys and businesses about the tax-saving benefits of real estate exchanges and real estate investing by use of individual 401k’s and IRA’s. In an effort to work with real estate investors and clients on a more personal level, Craig opted to obtain his real estate license; ultimately creating a decision to become a full-time Realtor.
Craig’s family still lives in Columbus, OH supporting the Ohio State Buckeyes on a regular basis. His parents are now retired, but continue to visit Bonita during the winter months. His older brother enjoys a career at Raymond James’ institutional fixed income department, but is eager to return home to spend time with his wife and two infants in Dublin, OH
